Cultivating connection through beautiful, abundant kitchen gardens.
Together we thrive.
“I hired Laura at Thryve to help me plan and create an edible garden on my patio in Ridgewood. The space came with plenty of challenges - encroaching trees, lots of shade, and elevated train tracks nearby that made privacy a concern. Laura asked me my vision - I wanted my kids to grow up experiencing the joy of growing food, learning about it firsthand, and making memories surrounded by plants and nature.
Thanks to Laura, that vision came to life. Now, I spend evenings with my toddler watering our plants, stuffing our mouths with sweet, sun-warmed cherry tomatoes. It’s everything I hoped for.
Laura is kind, approachable, and deeply thoughtful. She’s generous with her time and her wisdom, and she always met me where I was. Her recommendations - from seeds to planters to trellises - were not only high quality, but clearly chosen with care. I know they’ll last me for many years to come.
She was mindful of my budget the entire time and still managed to create something magical. What she gave me isn’t just a garden - it’s an oasis, a peaceful place in the middle of the city, and truly one of the best gifts I’ve ever received.”

“I recently had the opportunity to hire the company Thryve Garden for some planting advice and assistance. I am someone who loves flowers, and enjoys gardening but my efforts to grow flower gardens around my home rarely ended in success.
For some would be gardeners, like myself, issues of color, annuals vs. perennials, but especially issues of placement, and differing heights of plants have ended in uneven results.
Luckily after years of trying, this year I met Laura, the owner of Thryve Garden. She came to my house and reviewed and measured the area for my new garden. We talked about what I envisioned and wanted, she drew up a plan and listened to my ideas and preferences, and now for the first time in a long time I finally have a beautiful garden in the front of my house and I couldn’t be happier with the result.
I definitely recommend Thryve Garden to anyone who loves gardening but needs some help to make their gardens a reality. Besides bringing her knowledge, and enthusiasm to her projects, she is also a wonderful person to work with. I definitely recommend Thryve Garden for your gardening needs.”
